100g 4oz Butter
150g 5oz Plain flour
50g 2oz caster sugar
Preheat the oven to 180’C Fan 160’C Gas 4
Lightly grease 2 baking trays and line with greaseproof paper
Beat the butter and sugar together then add the flour and bring together with your hands till you get a nice dough then divide into 16 balls about a size of a walnut and place well apart on the tray. Dip a folk into a little water and use this to flatten the biscuits.
Bake in the oven for 15-20 mins until a very pale golden colour, then lift on to a wire rack to cool completely.
