Ellie cooked tonight and it looks harder than what it actually is she had no problems and done it in half an hour. once you’ve put the sauce together its straight forward.
For the sauce
4 tbsp soy sauce
2tbsp chilli sweet sauce
2tbsp cider vinegar
2 tbsp honey
4 level tsp cornflour
75ml orange juice
For the rest
left over pork or you could use chicken
2 large carrots finely chopped
1 red pepper chopped
1 spring onion cut (Ellie used scissors)
handful of mangetout
half agin of pineapple and its juice
rice to serve i use a full mug of rice for us 4 but go with what you are use too.
Ellie started by getting all the ingredients for the sauce and placing them into a bowl and mixed it all in.
Then place a pan on the hob and add the oil and then pork and heat for 5 mins whilst cooking, cut up your carrots, pepper then add that to the pan along with the mangetout, spring onions then finally add the pineapple and the juice and give it all a big stir till all combined if the sauce is a little too thick add some water just to loosen. Turn the heat down and let simmer gently. Place a pan of water on the hob and bring to the boil and cook your rice and then once that is done serve your meal up.
