250g rolled porridge oats
50g hazelnuts chopped
75g maple syrup
1 egg white beaten until frothy
150g mixed dried fruit
Heat the oven to 180′c /160′c fan/ gas 4
tip all the oats coconut, nuts into a large bowl.
put the honey and maple syrup into a saucepan and heat gently (don’t let in boil)
pour the honey into the oats and mix together to coat all the ingredients.
stir in the egg white.
spread the granola mix on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10 mins then take out and stir the mix and bake for another 5 mins then repeat by string the mix and bake again for a final 5 mins so 20 mins in total for baking take care not to burn the granola as the nuts don’t taste great burnt
